State of Mind

You ask me if I keep a notebook to record my great ideas. I've only ever had one.

Albert Einstein

My current state of mind has detected a disease. This is its first public appearance that I have to come up with its name rather than look it up in medical books: Knowledge-link hunt.

Brain found

So I found out that I have brains – why is it the term 'brains' when in fact each has only one brain?- when I aced my math tests without studying, and secured a well deserved seat in the English club of all of my pre college schooling. I even went so far as to be recorded in the national radio for a special kid show-disregard the fact it never aired because of my continuous short of breath.

To avoid social embarrassment, I'm assuming both my parents are smart people, and their brains have been the foundation of mine. Bear in mind such a statement as the one written exactly before the last full stop is scientifically challenged, but I am allowing free-wheel pattern of thought, giving me all the excuse I need to get away with virtually anything.

Brain test

What better place to test brains other than college eh? –and refer to that 'eh' as a Canadian trade mark.

For a good reason, guys and gals go for engineering school instead of science, medicine, art, law, or even Business school.

My reason was this: a 'first' in my family- gender wise- to be in Engineering school.

Technically, I have achieved term 'engineer' tagged to my name… but am I?

Brain challenge

there are a few decisions in life that are pivotal:

Choice of education
Work
Marriage
House location

in a daily basis however, a most frequent challenge arises to almost all Kuwaitis: where do we dine out? And the question bounces back and forth between two people or more, where by at the end they grab a take away and play cards back at the dewaneya.

I've made up my mind – so it wasn't yet made? - In going to engineering school, in choosing a research place of work. My challenge now arises with how is my engineering choice is corresponding to my work choice.

Am I a good engineer?

In definition, a good engineer is some one, who has a clear view of what's inside the box, i.e.: the problem/the case, and can look outside the box; for the solution.

Register the above in a Webster dictionary please!

For the time being, my struggle is concentrated within the box.

Brain damage

Information and more information, knowledge and more knowledge, has all flooded my system for the last two months that I think I have achieved full saturation of nearly everything. I am now capable of writing a distinct version of the book: history of nearly everything.

Suddenly, no sense is making sense – could that be rewritten as 'nonsense is making sense'?- every other person has better mind than mine, has a wider grasp, innovates, creates, deals, has self-confidence, and jump right on the tasks where I would be still toddling.

Brain is Mind?

Mind you, the right side of my brain is responsible for my creativity-if I had any. The left side of my brain is responsible for my language and writing- where my creativity supposedly locates. So if my right is not lefting, then my left would not be respecting… so mind the brain!

I just found this one now, hehe.

Question: Why is it 'challange' with an a and not an e? You did it with 'confidance' too.

Typo, or is it meant to be mis-spelt?
